CMG Deploys Over 2,000 Staff for Premium 2024 Paris Olympics Coverage

The China Media Group (CMG), one of the primary broadcasters for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics, has dispatched a production and broadcasting team of more than 2,000 individuals to Paris.

Since mid-June, the frontline staff have been setting up a working area spanning over 1,500 square meters at the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) in the French capital. CMG has established a transcontinental Olympic broadcasting cloud platform based on its media cloud, providing various production tools including video, audio, picture, and text editing, merging, and packaging.

On July 3, CMG began installing its ultra-high-definition broadcasting system at the location shooting site and television studio at the Eiffel Tower and IBC, with construction work expected to be completed by Saturday.

Throughout the 2024 Summer Olympics, CMG will deploy nearly 40 media convergence groups across different venues, ready to deliver first-class, professional reports to its audience through a series of premium programs.
