CMG’s 8K Broadcast Fleet Arrives in Paris for Historic Olympics Coverage

A fleet of six 8K ultra-high-definition live broadcast vehicles from China Media Group (CMG), hailing from the Chinese mainland, has arrived in Paris ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The vehicles made their way to the Stade de France on Tuesday, marking the beginning of CMG's preparations to deliver live Olympic coverage to a global audience.

With this development, Paris 2024 becomes the first Summer Olympics in history to feature an 8K ultra-high-definition public broadcast signal, promising viewers an unparalleled visual experience.

Excitement was palpable among overseas Chinese and local residents as the CMG vans navigated past iconic French landmarks on their way to the stadium.

\"I was so thrilled when I saw the red CMG trucks coming, with Beijing license plates. I felt China is really strong. It's very good,\" said Li Jie, a Chinese student in France.

Paris resident Yaghi Hami expressed his delight, stating, \"This is a beautiful surprise. Our Chinese friends have come to Paris to promote the city as the focus of world sports during the Olympics. This is wonderful. CMG's broadcast trucks have passed by the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and more. We are thrilled. This is fantastic. Thank you very much.\"
