Mbappe Restricted: No French Flag Mask at Euro 2024 Due to UEFA Rules

Kylian Mbappe will not be allowed to wear a three-color mask featuring France's national flag when he returns to play at the UEFA European Championship in Germany.

The French superstar suffered a broken nose during his side's 1-0 win over Austria on Monday, exiting the game with an injury that requires facial protection.

While Mbappe showcased the tricolore mask in light training with his teammates on Thursday, UEFA's regulations stipulate that all medical equipment worn on the field must be a single color and free of team or manufacturer identification.

As a result, Mbappe must forgo his national flag mask during matches unless a special exemption is granted by the governing body.
