IOC Assures Paris 2024 Olympics Unaffected by France’s Political Shifts

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach has confidently stated that the current political upheaval in France will not impact the preparations for the Paris 2024 Summer Games.

In the wake of French President Emmanuel Macron's unexpected call for new parliamentary elections, there were concerns about potential disruptions. However, Bach emphasized the resilience and adaptability of France, noting, \"France is used to holding elections, they will do it one more time.\"

Speaking at a Paris 2024 event, Bach assured that regardless of the election outcomes, political leaders are committed to supporting the Olympics, ensuring that the Games proceed smoothly as planned.
