Team China secured their place in the last 16 of the World Table Tennis (WTT) Champions event held in Chongqing Municipality, South China, on Friday.
In the men's singles, Fan Zhendong defeated South Korea's Lee Sang-su with a decisive 3-0 victory, while Liang Jingkun also overcame France's Alexis Lebrun in straight sets, both matches ending 3-0.
Earlier encounters saw Liang and Lebrun facing off at the WTT Champions in Incheon, South Korea, where Lebrun narrowly lost 3-2.
Additionally, China's Lin Gaoyuan advanced to the next round after defeating Sweden's Anton Kallberg with a score of 3-1.
