India Kicks Off T20 World Cup Preparations with New York Training Session

India's cricket team has kicked off their preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup by holding their first training session since arriving in New York on Wednesday. The session featured key players including Captain Rohit Sharma, coach Rahul Dravid, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishab Pant, and Jasprit Bumrah, who were all seen stretching and honing their skills.

While players arrived in New York gradually, star player Virat Kohli was notably absent from the initial training but is expected to join the team soon, bringing his experience and leadership to the squad.

The team is set to play a warm-up match against Bangladesh on Saturday, followed by the commencement of their World Cup campaign with a match against Ireland on June 5.
