Ohtani Confident Leg Injury Won’t Impact Swing Ahead of Mets Game

Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani has been dealing with a bruised hamstring since being hit by a pickoff throw during the team's last homestand. Despite concerns about his injury, Ohtani remains optimistic about his upcoming performance against the New York Mets.

\"I don't think so. Obviously the leg isn't that great but I don't particularly think it's affecting the swing,\" Ohtani said.

Manager Dave Roberts mentioned on Saturday that Ohtani has been advised to take it easy. However, the Japanese superstar is determined to play through the discomfort and contribute to the Dodgers' efforts.

The first game of the Dodgers' series at the Mets was postponed due to heavy rain in the New York City area and has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 4:10 p.m.

Fans are eager to see Ohtani back in action and showcase his exceptional skills on the mound and at the plate.
