China Secures Hosting Rights for 2025 AFC U20 Men’s Asian Cup

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced that China will be the host nation for the 2025 AFC U20 Men's Asian Cup. This decision was made during the AFC Competitions Committee meeting held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), where the hosting rights for the tournament were officially awarded to the Chinese Football Association.

In addition to this exciting development, the AFC has also allocated the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. This move aligns with FIFA's recent decision to organize both the men's and women's editions of the FIFA U17 World Cup annually starting from 2025. Consequently, the AFC has approved reforms to the AFC U17 Asian Cup, ensuring that both the qualifiers and finals will now be held annually.

These changes are expected to enhance the competitive landscape of youth football in Asia, providing more opportunities for young athletes to showcase their talents on an international stage. China's role as the host for the U20 Men's Asian Cup highlights its growing influence and commitment to developing football within the region.
