Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has been named the Premier League Manager of the Year by the English top football league on Tuesday.
Under Guardiola's leadership, Manchester City secured their fourth consecutive Premier League title this season. This accolade marks Guardiola's fifth Manager of the Year award since joining the Etihad Stadium in 2016. Only Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary former manager of Manchester United, has won the award more times with eleven accolades.
Expressing his gratitude, Guardiola stated, \\"I want to share it, yes, oh yes! Especially with Mikel for the incredible job he has done until the last game, bringing us to our limits.\\"
Manchester City triumphed over Liverpool, managed by Jürgen Klopp, and Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, to clinch the Premier League title this season. Similarly, Guardiola overcame competition from Unai Emery of Aston Villa and Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth to secure the Manager of the Year trophy.
