China Media Group (CMG) has officially launched its new sports news program, Morning Sports, in Shanghai, marking a significant step in its coverage of the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.
The inauguration ceremony, attended by Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, and Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), saw the unveiling of CMG's Paris 2024 logo and recognition of its dedicated broadcast team. Shen emphasized CMG's commitment to serving as the main broadcasting body and the exclusive all-media rights holder for the Olympic Games.
As one of the world's leading international media groups, CMG is poised to deliver comprehensive and engaging coverage of the Olympics. \"CMG will leverage its extensive media network to provide our audience with unparalleled access and insights into the Games,\" Shen stated during his speech.
The logistical preparations are already underway, with CMG's production trucks departing from Beijing to Ningbo in Zhejiang Province before making their way to Paris. The team is scheduled to arrive in the French capital in late July, well ahead of the Olympics' commencement on July 26.
