PSG’s Luis Enrique Vows a Strong Comeback Against Barcelona in CL Quarterfinal

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is gearing up for a crucial second-leg match against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. After a narrow 3-2 loss at home on April 10, PSG will face Barcelona at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Barcelona, Spain.

PSG manager Luis Enrique expressed his confidence during Monday's press conference, emphasizing his team's determination to reverse the first-leg deficit and secure a spot in the semifinals.

\"PSG have never come back to win after losing a first leg, but [Tuesday] is the day,\" Enrique said. \"After a defeat in such an important game, the days after the match were hard. It's tricky to recover mentally, but the good thing about football is you have another game against the same opponent.\"

Enrique brings a wealth of experience to this matchup, having managed Barcelona between 2014 and 2017. During his tenure, Barcelona faced PSG six times in the Champions League, winning four of those encounters. Notably, during the 2016-17 campaign, Barcelona achieved one of football's most memorable comebacks by overturning a 4-0 first-leg deficit with a stunning 6-1 victory at Camp Nou, eliminating PSG from the competition.

As PSG prepares to host Barcelona once again, the stage is set for a dramatic showdown that could echo past triumphs or carve out a new chapter in this storied rivalry.
