Paris Sets Stage for Summer Olympics with Security Measures as Games Break Ad Sales Records

Paris is gearing up for the Summer Olympics with extensive preparations aimed at ensuring a seamless and secure event.

French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced on Tuesday that large areas of central Paris will be inaccessible to most people in the week leading up to the Games. To manage the flow of traffic, only four access points across the Seine river will remain open.

In addition to these closures, authorities will establish a vast anti-terror zone along the Seine, which will restrict movement and enhance security. Olympic athletes are scheduled to sail down the Seine when the Games commence on July 26, navigating the controlled waterways.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Games are set to make headlines beyond the sporting arena, with projections indicating that they are poised to break NBC's ad sales records. This commercial milestone highlights the global anticipation and the significant economic impact of the Olympics.
