China is set to deepen its partnership with Jordan to foster shared development and bolster regional stability. At a recent press conference in Amman, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Chen Chuandong highlighted the strong complementarity between the two nations' economic structures and modernization efforts.
Chen noted that the outcomes of China’s recent Two Sessions have helped shape reform policies that resonate with Jordan’s own modernization drive. He encouraged Jordan to leverage Chinese-hosted exhibitions, particularly to promote its high-quality products like dates and olive oil, emphasizing the vast opportunities in agricultural cooperation.
The ambassador also reaffirmed China’s commitment to global governance. He stressed the importance of extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits as foundations in addressing pressing global issues. Among these initiatives, China plans to offer innovative solutions for the political settlement of the Ukraine crisis and to work towards a comprehensive, just, and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue, thereby contributing to peace in the Middle East.
This renewed collaboration not only strengthens bilateral ties but also opens up dynamic opportunities for trade, innovation, and cultural exchange, reflecting a future built on sustainable development and mutual growth.
