Li, representing the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, conveyed warm greetings from Chinese President Xi Jinping, highlighting the key consensuses reached on party-to-party and state-to-state relations. This agreement paves the way for deeper traditional ties and expanded cooperation across various fields.
Both leaders expressed their commitment to building a China-Cuba community with a shared future, emphasizing collaboration on international and regional issues, mutual support on core interests, and the implementation of previously agreed-upon initiatives.
Diaz-Canel extended his gratitude for China's ongoing support in Cuba's economic and social development and reiterated Cuba's willingness to strengthen governance exchanges, deepen practical cooperation, and enhance international collaboration, further solidifying the bond between the two countries.
The meeting also included discussions with other Cuban leaders and concluded with Li speaking at a theoretical seminar titled \"Advancing the Socialist Cause and Building a Shared Future\" held in Havana.
