The Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) will convene its 12th session from November 4 to 8 in Beijing.
Presided over by Zhao Leji, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, the meeting decided on Friday to set the agenda for the upcoming session.
Among the key topics, lawmakers will review a draft preschool education law, revisions to the Law on Protection of Cultural Relics, the Mineral Resources Law, a new energy law, and amendments to the Anti-Money Laundering Law.
Additionally, the session will include reports on financial work, management of state-owned assets, building world-class universities with Chinese characteristics, and efforts in preventing and controlling desertification.
