Russia and China Celebrate 75 Years of Friendship with New Exhibition

The State Museum of Political History of Russia in St. Petersburg has launched an exhibition titled \"Russia-China Friendship through the Ages\" to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. Open until February next year, the exhibition offers visitors a unique glimpse into the evolving relationship between Russia and the Chinese mainland, featuring many exhibits on public display for the first time.

Representatives from both countries attended the grand opening ceremony, including Luo Zhanhui, Consul General of China in St. Petersburg, along with officials from the St. Petersburg government, historians, and prominent public figures. Sergey Rybakov, the museum's director general, highlighted the enduring friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation that has strengthened ties over the decades.

\"The exhibition that opened shows what role friendship plays in the relationship between our countries both in the past and in the present,\" said Luo. The event also featured a symphonic concert by Russian and Chinese artists, as well as engaging workshops on Chinese calligraphy and dance, fostering cultural exchange and understanding.
