Chinese President Xi Jinping and other Party and state leaders will pay tribute to fallen heroes by presenting flower baskets at Tian'anmen Square in central Beijing on Monday morning, just before the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
Representatives from various sectors of the community will join the leaders in commemorating Martyrs' Day, highlighting the nation's respect and remembrance for its heroes.
The solemn event will take place at the Monument to the People's Heroes and will be broadcast live by China Media Group, allowing citizens across the country to participate in the observance.
