The foreign minister highlighted that both China and Iran are committed to pursuing independent development paths, upholding international fairness and justice, and protecting the legitimate rights of developing countries. He called for promoting a multipolar world and democratizing international relations.

On the Israel-Palestine conflict, Wang pledged that China will uphold justice by pushing for a ceasefire and an end to the war. He also expressed support for Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other regional countries in improving their relations and resolving regional security issues through unity and cooperation.

Wang added that China supports the unity of Arab and Islamic countries in voicing a stronger position and working towards achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.

President Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran's adherence to the one-China principle and its commitment to developing friendly relations with China. He expressed Iran's willingness to actively participate in the Belt and Road Initiative and implement comprehensive cooperation plans.

He emphasized that in a changing world where some countries pursue unilateralism and hegemony, Iran and China should strengthen cooperation to address global challenges and uphold multilateralism, fairness, and justice.

Pezeshkian acknowledged China's role in promoting world peace and regional security, adding that Iran hopes China will play an even greater role in promoting a ceasefire, ending the war, and alleviating the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East.
