China and Argentina Strengthen Development Partnership

In a significant move to enhance international cooperation, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed China’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Argentina. Speaking alongside Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Wang emphasized the strong and stable relationship between the two nations.

Wang highlighted the complementary nature of China and Argentina’s economies, underscoring the solid foundation of their practical cooperation. He called for both countries to prioritize their bilateral relations in their foreign policies and to build greater political mutual trust. \"We encourage both sides to support each other on issues that concern each other's core interests and major concerns,\" Wang stated.

Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino echoed these sentiments, expressing Argentina’s appreciation for the Chinese market. She welcomed Chinese enterprises to invest and conduct business in Argentina, signaling a readiness to expand economic and trade cooperation. Mondino also expressed Argentina’s enthusiasm to actively participate in broader China-Latin America collaborations.

This reaffirmation of partnership comes at a time when global economies are seeking strong alliances to navigate complex international landscapes. With China and Argentina working closely together, both nations aim to foster sustainable development and mutual growth.
