Beirut Death Toll Rises as Israeli-Hezbollah Conflict Escalates

In a significant escalation of the ongoing conflict, two Israeli airstrikes targeted the southern suburb of Da'ahia in Beirut, resulting in the deaths of at least 45 individuals. Among the casualties were children and women, with several others injured in the attacks.

The airstrikes aimed at high-ranking commanders within the Hezbollah organization, with officials confirming that 16 of its members were killed, including a senior official, Ibrahim Aqil.

The Israeli Defense Forces stated that the strikes were conducted in a nine-story building where they believed high-ranking Hezbollah commanders were convening. This development marks a critical point in the tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, raising concerns over potential further escalations in the region.
