He stressed the importance of implementing the three major global initiatives, pursuing common development, and fostering peaceful coexistence through mutual exchanges and learning.
As a permanent member of the UN Security Council and a key player in the Global South, China is dedicated to promoting an orderly, multipolar world and inclusive economic globalization that benefits all. Han assured that China will collaborate with other nations to enhance peace and development, aiming to create a better world for future generations.
The event featured a video speech by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and included remarks from prominent international figures such as Sommad Pholsena of Laos, former South African President Kgalema Motlanthe, former Colombian President Ernesto Samper, and former Swiss President Ueli Maurer. These speakers lauded China's enduring efforts and contributions to global peace, security, and development, expressing their commitment to uphold the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and support the implementation of China's global initiatives.
Approximately 180 representatives from foreign political parties, peace and friendship organizations, security think tanks, and relevant domestic departments attended the ceremony, underscoring the widespread support for China's vision of a harmonious and prosperous global community.
