At the Global Armenian Summit held on Wednesday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan affirmed the nation's commitment to joining the European Union.
Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia's efforts to integrate with the EU will not be a unilateral or bilateral action, but rather a collaborative process. \"We must be careful in addressing this issue to avoid disappointing our people,\" he stated.
The Prime Minister highlighted democracy as a cornerstone of Armenia's strategy to deepen ties with the EU, the United States, and other Western allies. He also stressed that Armenia should not frame its democratic values in opposition to its regional diplomacy.
Pashinyan added, \"Our actions toward the EU must be transparent, as should the intentions of our European partners. If a tangible opportunity to join the EU arises and we can manage the associated risks, we will definitely seize it.\"
