11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum Kicks Off with Global Security Focus

The 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum officially commenced in Beijing on Thursday, centered around the theme \"Promoting Peace for a Shared Future.\"

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter, highlighting China’s commitment to the Global Security Initiative. In his message, Xi emphasized the importance of consolidating consensus among nations, addressing the root causes of international conflicts, and enhancing global security governance to build a world of lasting peace and universal security.

This year’s forum has seen record participation, with over 500 official representatives from more than 100 countries and international organizations attending. Additionally, more than 200 experts and scholars from both China and abroad are present to contribute their insights.

The forum aims to uphold the spirit of equality, openness, inclusiveness, and mutual learning. Participants are expected to foster broad consensus, deepen mutual trust, and make significant contributions to addressing global security challenges collectively, advancing the vision of a human community with a shared future.
