The Chinese mainland has expressed grave concern over Israel's ongoing military operations in Gaza, which have resulted in significant civilian casualties. Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian condemned the recent Israeli strike on a Gaza school that killed over 100 individuals on August 10.
\"We condemn all acts that harm civilians, oppose all moves that violate international humanitarian law, and call on Israel to heed the call of the international community, stop the hostilities at once, do everything possible to protect civilians and avoid further escalation in the region,\" Lin stated.
The spokesperson emphasized that the Chinese mainland urges the international community to intensify efforts to alleviate and put an end to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
