Xi, who also serves as the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, highlighted the necessity for these departments to actively study and implement the guiding principles established during the third plenum of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
He described the study and implementation of these guiding principles as a \"major political task of the whole Party and country at present and in the near future,\" underscoring its significance for national development.
Xi stressed the importance of maintaining and strengthening the Party's overall leadership and the centralized, unified leadership of the Party Central Committee. He urged central Party and state departments to set an example by deepening reforms and advancing modernization efforts.
Additionally, Xi called for these departments to intensify institutional reforms related to Party building, lead by enforcing Party discipline, and combat corruption effectively.

A conference held on Wednesday focused on studying and implementing the guiding principles from the key plenum, aiming to advance Party building within central Party and state departments. Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Working Committee for Central and State Institutions, was among the attendees.
