Addressing misconceptions, Wang criticized the U.S. for adhering to a hegemonic logic that distorts its perception of China. He affirmed that China neither seeks hegemony nor engages in power politics, boasting a commendable record on peace and security. Wang also emphasized China's dedication to peaceful development and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
On the sensitive issue of Taiwan, Wang firmly stated that Taiwan is an integral part of China and that any moves towards \"Taiwan independence\" threaten peace in the Taiwan Strait. He vowed to counter provocations aimed at destabilizing the region and reiterated China's goal of complete national reunification.
In matters concerning the Ren'ai Jiao in the South China Sea, Wang urged the U.S. to refrain from actions that could undermine maritime stability. He pointed out that China has reached a temporary arrangement with the Philippines to manage the situation and called on the Philippines to honor its commitments.
Regarding the Ukraine crisis, Wang expressed China's commitment to promoting peace talks and criticized the U.S. for imposing unilateral sanctions.
