Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov echoed these sentiments, congratulating China on the successful conclusion of the 20th CPC Central Committee's plenary session. Lavrov highlighted the strong strategic collaboration between Russia and China, aimed at fostering a fair international order and supporting a multipolar world.
The two nations also showcased their willingness to strengthen ties within multilateral organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS. Wang affirmed China's support for Russia's role as the rotating chair of BRICS, while Lavrov expressed Russia's backing for China's presidency of the SCO.
