China has expressed appreciation for the remarks made by Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian regarding China-Iran relations. In an article published in the Tehran Times, President-elect Pezeshkian highlighted Iran’s commitment to its traditional friendship with China and expressed eagerness to collaborate more extensively with Beijing as both nations move towards a new global order.
During a daily press briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian emphasized the long history of friendly exchanges between China and Iran. Lin noted that since establishing diplomatic ties over half a century ago, the bilateral relationship has seen consistent and steady development.
Amid complex regional and international dynamics, China and Iran have continuously supported each other, working together to strengthen strategic mutual trust. They have actively promoted exchanges and cooperation across various fields, maintaining effective communication and coordination on regional and international affairs.
