Premier Li emphasized the strong bond between China and Guinea-Bissau, describing the two nations as \"reliable good brothers and good partners.\" He highlighted China's commitment to fostering friendly and cooperative relations, which have steadily grown under the strategic guidance of both leaders.

The premier lauded the fruitful cooperation achieved in recent years, noting advancements in various sectors. \"China is willing to work with Guinea-Bissau to deepen political mutual trust and expand our collaborative efforts, ensuring that our development paths bring more benefits to our peoples,\" Li stated.

Supporting Guinea-Bissau's pursuit of a development path tailored to its national conditions, China pledged to aid in safeguarding the country's sovereignty, security, and development interests. Premier Li expressed China's readiness to share development strategies, enhance pragmatic cooperation, and assist Guinea-Bissau in strengthening its internal development mechanisms.

The meeting also touched upon leveraging key platforms such as the Belt and Road Initiative and the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). These platforms aim to deepen collaboration in agriculture, fisheries, and infrastructure construction, fostering sustainable growth.

China expressed its intent to import higher-quality agricultural products from Guinea-Bissau and encouraged Chinese enterprises to increase investments in the region. Additionally, the premier called for enhanced people-to-people exchanges, particularly in medical care, health, and education, welcoming more Guinea-Bissau students to study in China.

President Embalo conveyed Guinea-Bissau's gratitude for China's long-term support and reiterated the nation's commitment to strengthening cooperation in economic, trade, and infrastructural domains. He affirmed Guinea-Bissau's adherence to the one-China principle and support for global initiatives like the Belt and Road Initiative, expressing eagerness to achieve substantial outcomes at the upcoming FOCAC summit in China this fall.
