In a significant move within China’s military hierarchy, Xi Jinping, chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), presented a certificate of order to elevate He Hongjun to the rank of general, the highest achievable rank for active service officers.
He Hongjun currently serves as the executive deputy director of the Political Work Department of the CMC, a critical role that underscores his influence and leadership within the military structure.
