Chinese President Xi Jinping and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon held small-group talks in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on Friday.
President Xi emphasized that the relationship between China and Tajikistan is built on deep historical roots, a solid political foundation, rich cooperative connotations, and broad popular support.
Under their joint efforts, political mutual trust between the two nations has continued to deepen. President Xi added that Belt and Road cooperation has yielded fruitful results, with a series of major projects making significant progress, effectively promoting the common development of both countries.
