Xi Pledges to Elevate China-Poland Relations Amid Global Uncertainty

Chinese President Xi Jinping has committed to elevating China-Poland bilateral relations, aiming to bring more stability and certainty to a world facing turmoil.

During talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Xi emphasized China's willingness to work closely with Poland under the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and to uphold the traditional friendship between the two nations.

This meeting follows the historical 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Poland, a relationship marked by steady growth and resilience. Xi highlighted that their strong ties have endured thanks to mutual respect, equal treatment, and mutually-beneficial cooperation.

The Chinese president called for continued collaboration in various fields, including trade, agriculture, the digital economy, green industry, and clean energy. He also announced a 15-day unilateral visa-free policy for Polish citizens, further facilitating travel and business between the two countries.

Moreover, Xi expressed China's readiness to implement the Belt and Road initiative in collaboration with Poland, advancing projects like the China-Europe Railway Express. Both nations aim to build an equal, orderly, and multi-polar world while promoting inclusive economic globalization.

\"China is ready to work with Poland and other countries to promote the sustainable development of the China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) cooperation mechanism and the sound and stable development of China-Europe relations,\" Xi concluded.
