Chinese Premier Li Qiang Visits Australia to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Chinese premier is embarking on a significant three-nation tour from June 13 to 20, with Australia being the second destination after an official visit to New Zealand. His visit to Australia aims to reinforce the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations and explore new avenues for cooperation.

During his time in Australia, Premier Li Qiang will co-chair the ninth China-Australia Annual Leaders' Meeting alongside Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. This high-level meeting is expected to foster deeper economic and political ties, building on the already strong and complementary economic relationship between the two countries.

In addition to the leaders' summit, Premier Li will attend a China-Australia CEO Roundtable, providing a platform for business leaders to discuss opportunities and challenges in emerging markets and tech innovation. Engaging with various sectors, the premier will exchange views on bilateral relations as well as international and regional issues of mutual concern.

This visit highlights the ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and ensure that both China and Australia continue to benefit from their partnership in an increasingly interconnected global landscape.
