During a meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon on Thursday, visiting Chinese Premier Li Qiang announced that China will include New Zealand in the list of countries eligible for unilateral visa exemptions. Li expressed hopes that New Zealand will provide more conveniences for Chinese citizens visiting the country.
Premier Li is on an official visit to New Zealand, the first leg of his three-nation tour from June 13 to 20, which will also take him to Australia and Malaysia.
