The Central Party Literature Press has released a comprehensive compilation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s discourses on China’s national energy security. This publication marks a significant milestone in documenting the strategic vision that has guided China's energy policies since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012.
Under Xi Jinping’s leadership, the CPC Central Committee has accelerated the development of a new energy system, reinforcing China’s energy security and providing a robust foundation for the nation’s economic and social progress. These discourses highlight the importance of advancing new energy technologies, promoting an energy revolution, and ensuring a safe and reliable energy supply to support China’s ongoing modernization efforts.
Compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, the book features 217 passages categorized into eight sections, drawn from over 130 significant speeches and written works between November 2012 and May 2024. Notably, some of these insights are being shared with the public for the first time, offering a deeper understanding of China’s commitment to sustainable energy development.
