In a recent development highlighted during the 10th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that China's stance on the Palestinian issue is in alignment with that of Arab countries.
Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, underscored China's commitment to solidarity and cooperation with Arab nations. He reiterated the importance of standing together for historical correctness, fairness, justice, and international humanitarianism.
The meeting also saw discussions on the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Both Chinese and Saudi officials agreed that any peace conference in Ukraine should be based on the principles of acceptance by the involved parties, equal participation, and fair deliberation of all options.
Wang affirmed that China remains dedicated to promoting peace and dialogue, aiming to play a constructive role in facilitating a political resolution to the situation in Ukraine.
