CASCF Ministerial Meeting Triumph: China-Arab Ties Strengthen for 2026 Summit

The 10th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) has been hailed as a significant success by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Speaking in Beijing, Wang highlighted the fruitful discussions aimed at accelerating the implementation of the outcomes from the first China-Arab States Summit.

Wang emphasized that one of the most notable achievements of the meeting was the announcement by Chinese President Xi Jinping to host the second China-Arab States Summit in 2026. This upcoming summit is expected to serve as a milestone, further solidifying China-Arab relations and advancing the vision of building a China-Arab community with a shared future.

A key focus of the ministerial conference was the unwavering support for the Palestinian people in restoring their legitimate national rights. Wang noted that the conference adopted a joint China-Arab states statement on the Palestinian issue, advocating for an immediate end to the Gaza conflict and promoting a comprehensive, just, and lasting settlement.

In addition to the joint statement, the meeting saw the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and the CASCF execution plan for 2024-2026. These documents outline the strategic framework for enhancing cooperation and addressing mutual challenges over the coming years.

The success of the 10th ministerial meeting underscores the growing partnership between China and Arab states, highlighting their commitment to collaboration on critical global issues and the pursuit of shared prosperity.
