China and Arab League Pledge Enhanced Cooperation to Address Palestine Issue

In a significant move towards strengthening international ties, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with the League of Arab States Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit at the 10th Ministerial Conference of China-Arab States in Beijing on Wednesday.

The discussions highlighted both parties' commitment to enhancing practical cooperation and actively promoting the resolution of the Palestine issue. Wang Yi emphasized that the relationship between China and Arab states is currently experiencing its best period in history.

\"The Arab League was the first regional organization to sign a joint statement with China aimed at further implementing the Global Civilization Initiative,\" Wang stated. He also noted China's readiness to collaborate with the League of Arab States to implement mutual consensus, bolster political trust, and deepen cooperation across various sectors.

On his part, Secretary-General Aboul-Gheit expressed the Arab League's strong support for the one-China principle and appreciated China's stance on the Palestine issue. He affirmed the League's dedication to continuing collaboration with China to achieve a comprehensive, just, and lasting settlement.

This meeting underscores the growing partnership between China and Arab nations, aiming to address pressing global issues and foster a more collaborative international community.
