In a significant move towards strengthening international ties, China and Kazakhstan have pledged to deepen their pragmatic cooperation, entering what Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong describes as a \"golden period\" of their strategic partnership.

During his visit from Wednesday to Friday, Vice Premier Liu engaged in comprehensive discussions with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, and Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin. The talks focused on enhancing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.

Liu emphasized China's commitment to implementing the mutual consensus reached by both nations' leaders. \"We are ready to support each other on issues concerning our core interests and to align our national development strategies,\" he stated.

The visit also highlighted China's dedication to multilateral cooperation within frameworks such as the China-Central Asia mechanism, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the United Nations. Both countries aim to build a closer China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future.

Kazakh leaders echoed the sentiments, affirming their dedication to the one-China principle and their eagerness to collaborate on the Belt and Road Initiative. They also underscored the importance of expanding cultural exchanges and combating common challenges together.

Furthermore, Vice Premier Liu met with officials from Almaty and nearby oblasts, laying the groundwork for enhanced local cooperation and regional development projects.
