From May 8 to 10, President Xi Jinping embarked on a significant state visit to Hungary, marking a pivotal moment in China-Hungary relations. Additionally, agricultural cooperation was enhanced with protocols on animal and plant quarantine and health requirements for exports, ensuring robust trade in agricultural products like fresh cherries.

Media and cultural exchanges were also prioritized, with multiple agreements aimed at promoting supply chain cooperation between enterprises, film cooperation, and strategic media partnerships. These initiatives are expected to deepen mutual understanding and enhance the cultural and economic bonds between the Chinese mainland and Hungary.
