The goal is to increase the number of French students in China and the participation of young Europeans in exchange programs.
Addressing global issues, China and France committed to enhancing cooperation on climate change, biodiversity, and other pressing matters. They also expressed support for dialogue in global governance, particularly in areas like artificial intelligence and the international financial system. China reiterated its support for France's role in hosting major international events, including the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the 2025 UN Ocean Conference.
President Xi took a stand on international conflicts, calling for peace and emphasizing the need for negotiations to resolve disputes. He urged for a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza and supported the restoration of Palestine's legitimate national rights.
