In a heartfelt message ahead of China's Youth Day on May 4, President Xi Jinping has called on young people to take the lead in driving the nation's modernization efforts.
As the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement approach, Xi emphasized the vital role of youth in fields such as scientific and technological innovation, rural revitalization, green development, social services, and national defense.
