CPC Leader Chen Wenqing to Join International Security Summit in Russia

In a significant move towards fostering global security collaborations, Chen Wenqing, a distinguished member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, is set to travel to Russia.

Chen will attend the 12th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, scheduled from April 20 to 28. The meeting, hosted by Russia, aims to address pressing global security challenges and promote international cooperation.

Official Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian announced the participation, highlighting the importance of the dialogue in strengthening security ties between nations. This visit underscores China's commitment to contributing to global security efforts and fostering peaceful international relations.

The summit is expected to bring together key security representatives from various countries and regions, facilitating discussions on strategies to tackle emerging security threats and enhance collaborative measures.
