UN Women’s Anna Mutavati praised the Chinese initiatives, noting significant gains in girls’ education and maternal health programs. “Delegates were impressed by China’s progress in women’s education, health, and economic empowerment,” she said, highlighting data that show rising female enrollment rates and expanding access to healthcare.
Pansy Ho Chiu-king of MGM China reflected on the journey since the 1995 Beijing Declaration. “Thirty years after the Beijing Declaration, China has fulfilled its goals and is ready to lead new progress,” she remarked, pointing to women’s growing presence in business and technology sectors.

Backed by statistics from China’s National Bureau of Statistics, delegate Ruan Jianhong called this moment a “golden stage” for young women amid China’s modernization. With expanded vocational training and policy support, the next generation is poised to lead in multiple fields.
