At the 2025 SCO Summit in Tianjin (August 31 – September 1), President Masoud Pezeshkian joined CMG's Zou Yun for an in-depth discussion on President Xi Jinping’s Global Governance Initiative. Describing it as a model of today's international vision, Pezeshkian highlighted its emphasis on equity, dialogue, and shared development as key elements for tackling global challenges.

Turning to the root causes of regional unrest, the president pointed to historical grievances and external interventions as critical factors fueling tensions.
