In 2024, the Chinese mainland's industrial robot market recorded sales of 302,000 units, holding the top global spot for the 12th straight year. Production climbed sharply from 33,000 units in 2015 to 556,000 units in 2024. Meanwhile, service robot output topped 10 million units, serving households, logistics hubs, healthcare facilities and more. Chinese mainland brands led 84.7 percent of global commercial service robot shipments, with ECOVACS, Narwal and UBTECH among the world's top innovators.
Beyond the Factory Floor
As AI and automation converge, robots are no longer confined to factories. Collaborative robots, or cobots, are boosting safety and flexibility on assembly lines, while automated guided vehicles streamline e-commerce logistics.
