Grenada PM Highlights Strengthened Ties with Chinese Mainland in Exclusive Interview

During his official visit to the Chinese mainland from January 11 to 17, Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada, sat down with CMG's Zou Yun for an exclusive interview. The discussion centered around two decades of fruitful partnership and cooperation between Grenada and the Chinese mainland.

Over the last decade, Grenada has greatly benefited from its growing economic, diplomatic, and security relations with the Chinese mainland. Key areas of cooperation include infrastructure development, education, healthcare, cultural exchanges, and technology. These collaborations have played a significant role in Grenada's progress and modernization.

Looking forward, Prime Minister Mitchell outlined expectations for continued cooperation in addressing global challenges such as peace, security, development, and climate change. He emphasized the importance of partnerships and multilateral institutions in tackling these issues effectively.

Mitchell also praised Chinese President Xi Jinping's foresight and global initiatives, noting his leadership as instrumental in steering efforts to overcome contemporary challenges facing the world.
