Namibian President Highlights China-Africa Partnership for Sustainable Growth

The 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, held from September 4 to 6, marked a significant milestone with the adoption of the Beijing Declaration on Jointly Building an All-Weather China-Africa Community with a Shared Future for the New Era. In this context, CMG's Wang Guan had an exclusive conversation in Beijing with Nangolo Mbumba, President of Namibia, to explore the future of China-Africa and China-Namibia cooperation.

President Mbumba acknowledged the central role of China on the global stage, stating, "you can't talk about development without thinking or talking about China." He emphasized that Namibia is determined to nurture national champions in the industrial and mining sectors, contribute to global green energy production, and expand the export of its agricultural and meat products to China.

This collaboration aims to drive sustainable economic growth in Namibia, fostering innovation and strengthening ties between the two regions. The Beijing Declaration underscores the shared commitment to building resilient and prosperous communities, ensuring mutual benefits and long-term partnerships.
