A major focus is the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity and economic growth in the region.

As Baku prepares to host COP29, Hajiyev outlined Azerbaijan's pivotal role in bridging the Global North and South. He underscored China's crucial contribution to Azerbaijan's green transformation through technology and investment, signaling a robust collaboration towards sustainable development.

In a move to deepen cultural and social ties, Hajiyev hinted at the possibility of visa-free travel for Chinese citizens visiting Azerbaijan. This initiative aims to foster people-to-people connections, further strengthening the bond between the two nations.
