UN Reports Over 700,000 Affected by Early Flooding in West & Central Africa

Torrential rains and severe flooding have impacted more than 700,000 people in West and Central Africa, just two months into the rainy season, a UN spokesman said on Tuesday. The UN is mobilizing resources to assist those affected and to mitigate the effects of the flooding.
